Since 1990 , we are building new connections, supporting and encouraging student achievements in the oil and gas, mining and geoengineering industries, while arranging conferences and other events that benefit the local community and enhance the student experience.

In addition to numerous opportunities to improve your professional skills, SPE.ZG also offers a handful of social programs. Not only do we plan prize games, quizzes, get-togethers, and parties annually for entertainment value, but we also use it as a chance to network with potential future coworkers. This delightful section of SPE.ZG is the ideal setting for making as many lovely study-related memories as one can.
Every year, a number of events are organized for both members and the wider public. As an added incentive for students participating in all of our organization's activities, sponsors and partners offer valuable resources as well as monetary rewards. On the other hand, student volunteers raise public awareness of numerous overlooked issues and provide assistance to those in need through educational campaigns and charitable activities.

International connection
As proud members of the Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE international), we are involved in numerous international projects. Along with expanding their English vocabulary, our members have the opportunity to listen to international lecturers and learn about the key distinctions between professional practices in Croatia and around the globe.
The possibility of traveling abroad
Discovering new places and cultures through travel is a great way to experience new things. It is customary in our branch to attend the activities of other SPE chapters around the globe and in European nations!
Gatherings and partying
Almost all projects that are carried out end in a relaxed and fun atmosphere - socializing, dancing and singing! In addition to professional training, we at SPE.ZG value community, and it is precisely the socializing and SPE parties that remain in the best memories of most students. Connecting students, taking a break from college duties and having an unforgettable time are an indispensable part of student life, which we also cherish in the Association!
